Special Wedding Permit

If you would like to get married on the beach in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores at one of the state park locations you will need a special wedding permit that we will order for you. The permit cost is $60 and you must get one at least a week before the wedding the sooner the better to make sure it is processed in time.

No permit is required if you having your wedding at a rented beach home, condo or beachfront hotel but you do need to get a written permission from the homeowner, condo or hotel first. Some places do not let you have a wedding on the beach. Just because you rent a place does not guarantee that you can have a wedding there. Many will need the extra special insurance for this kind of event so please get the written permission so you know everything is all good for your wedding day.

In the Fort Morgan Alabama area (one of our favorite wedding location areas) You do not need a state park permit as it is not state park land except at the Fort Morgan itself. But you will need the written permission from the homeowner, condo resort or hotel.

Fort Morgan is our favorite location as the beach rental homes offer a great place for a wedding. Many homes have amazing sea oats behind them and the beach is much less busy behind a beach home.
