About Our Wedding Officinat Services
We offer to Officiate weddings and vow renewals on the beach or other locations in the area. Including Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan, Foley, Perdido Key, Pensacola and other local areas.
Ed is an ordained, licensed professional Minister / Officiant and has been providing beach wedding services for over 15 years. We have done many hundreds of weddings over the years.
We can perform Christian or Non-Religious weddings. You can customize your vows if you like.
You will need a marriage license. See our marriage license section down below for more information on obtaining one.
The State of Alabama requires a Beach Wedding Permit if you are going to have your wedding at one of the state park locations. the cost is $60.
No Beach Wedding Permit is required for a wedding at a beach rental home or at a beach condo or other non-beach locations. Just make sure you have permission from the homeowner or condo first.
Wedding Photography
After your wedding Officiant service, if you add on the photography service we will photograph high-quality professional wedding photos. We have been providing beach wedding photography for over 15 years And many years before that for inland weddings. You won't find a better beach wedding photography on the coast. Many wedding Ministers or Officiants offer some photography but they are not real photographers and do not use professional camera equipment or know how to edit your photos in a high-quality way.
Ed was a pro photographer before becoming an Ordained wedding minister officiant. Ed uses only professional cameras and lens and off camera lighting when needed. Fort Morgan Officiant Marriage License Information
Alabama residents wishing to get married in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach can obtain a marriage license in either their home county or at the Baldwin County Courthouse in Bay Minette, Ala.
Two forms of identification are required, such as a valid driver’s license and a certified copy of your birth record.
A marriage license costs $70.00 and both bride and groom must be present.
The courthouse is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please call the Baldwin County Courthouse at 251-937-0260 or visit their website for additional information about obtaining an Alabama marriage license.
Beach Wedding Permits
If you are renting a private beach house or condominium, and have the permission of the owners to conduct a wedding, no permits are required from the City. You do need to make your guests aware, that they cannot park on the road rights-of-way.
Beach Wedding City/County Rules
As a rule, weddings are not allowed on the Gulf Shores public beaches from Spring Break through Labor Day weekend, especially if a large group is expected.
No chairs, gazebos, arches, etc. are allowed to be placed on the public beaches.
Gulf State Park, located in Gulf Shores, has a pavilion that is perfect for family and group outings, reunions, beach parties and sunset weddings. Rental is available 7 days a week, except major holiday weekends during the summer.
